(HUERFANO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is warning drivers of a road closure in Southern Colorado due to a crash and slower speeds are advised.

A little before 8 a.m. CDOT posted on X (formally known as Twitter) that I-25 northbound had a closure in the right lane between Exit 42 and I-25 Business, six miles south of Walsenburg, at Mile Point 43.

CDOT is advising drivers to use slower speeds while traveling in the area.
