(COLORADO SPRINGS) — In late September the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) along with the Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management (PPROEM) will host an evacuation exercise in the Broadmoor Bluffs Neighborhood.
On Thursday, Sept. 12 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Cheyenne Mountain High School located at 1200 Cresta Road PPROEM will hold an information meeting about the exercise and what to expect, how to prepare, and how community participation will help build a more resilient region.
PPROEM said eligible participants are those who live south of Star Ranch Road, west of Highway 115, north of Norad Road, or live in or around one of the following HOAs:
Cheyenne Mountain Neighborhood Association
Broadmoor Park HOA
Broadmoor Bluffs HOA
Mountain Oaks HOA
Country Broadmoor HOA
Neal Ranch HOA
Point at Cheyenne Mountain HOA
The exercise is expected to run on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
