(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Phil Long Dealerships are hosting food drives in September for the Food Bank of the Rockies, Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado, and the Raton Hunger Pantry.
The food drives are part of a worldwide effort in partnership with Ford Motor Company as part of the “Ford Building Together” initiative, focusing on community development, education, food security, and disaster relief. The four Phil Long Dealerships taking part in the food drives will be joining 9,000 Ford dealers joining the effort from around the globe.
“At Phil Long Dealerships, we believe our role extends far beyond selling vehicles; it’s about being a true partner in the communities we serve,” said Phil Long Dealerships CEO Kevin Shaughnessy. “For us, participating in this food drive is a reflection of our deep commitment to supporting the well-being of Denver, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Raton, New Mexico, and that no one goes hungry. For those that are able, we encourage you to join us in this effort to help our neighbors.”
The community can drop off nonperishable food items now through September 29 at the following locations:
Phil Long Ford of Denver, 7887 W Tufts Ave, Denver
Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills, 1565 Auto Mall Loop, Colorado Springs
Phil Long Ford of Motor City, 1212 Motor City Dr, Colorado Springs
