Kids weigh in on Valentine’s Day

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Valentine’s Day is a day to show love and care for those closest to you. But what do kids think the holiday is all about? FOX21 checked in with a few of them for their take on the big day.

Zion, who is 11-years-old, said the day is a chance to tell your crush that you like them.

When asked what would be a good present to get your Valentine, Hadassah, 10, said a “Chiefs’ Lamborghini.” Lexi, who is four-years-old, said a “teddy bear” or a “monkey.”

When it comes to where or what to eat for a special dinner, Rhea, 8, said “Jun,” a Japanese restaurant in Colorado Springs, because they “have Hibachi, and I think it would be a really nice spot.” Meanwhile, Kei, who is five years old, said “Casa Bonita.”
