(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — A large law enforcement presence is responding to the area of Manitou Avenue near Barr Trail, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO).

The City of Manitou said EPSO is the lead agency responding to an incident in Manitou Springs, though it is unclear what is under investigation at this time. EPSO is responding to Barr Trail and will provide more information to members of the media on scene.
