(LAS ANIMAS COUNTY, Colo.) — The Las Animas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 39-year-old man who went missing in early February.
Eddy Santillanes, 39, was reported missing on Tuesday, Feb. 4. However, on Sunday, Feb. 2, he last spoke to family members over the phone and, according to deputies, was last reported to be near the 34000 block of County Road 20.8 in Trinidad.
Santillanes is described as a white man of a thin build, approximately 6’2”, with brown hair, and blue eyes. Santillanes has three dots on his forehand, a tattoo of a wolf on the right side of his neck, along with multiple other tattoos on his arms and hands. He also has a distinctive tattoo of a “Pine” tree on his outer right hand.
Deputies said they have searched the area of the 3400 block of County Road 20.8 along with the Purgatory River area from the road where he was last seen into the City of Trinidad.
