(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A local veteran with 19 years of U.S. military service was gifted a brand-new furnace after nominations poured in from across the country.
WireNut Home Services partnered with Lennox to announce Geoffrey Noplis of Colorado Springs as the recipient of its first-ever Feel the Love award. As part of the award, Noplis was selected to receive a brand-new, high-efficiency Lennox furnace completely free of charge.
“This is our first year partnering with Lennox for Feel the Love, and we couldn’t have imagined a more deserving recipient,” said Trent Urban, President of WireNut Home Services. “Geoffrey’s story embodies everything this program stands for: service, sacrifice, and strength. Being able to give back even a fraction of the comfort he’s provided for others through his service means the world to us.”
Noplis shared that “…receiving a new furnace through Feel the Love is a reminder that our sacrifices are seen and that our community cares.” On Friday morning, Oct. 17, Noplis’ new furnace was installed thanks to WireNut’s team volunteering their time.
“We’ve had the privilege of serving his family for years, and now we get to help return that kindness in a truly meaningful way,” said Gavin Urban, Marketing Manager at WireNut Home Services. “This program reminds us why community matters.”
Lennox’s Feel the Love program supports “…deserving individuals and families and provides them with new, energy-efficient comfort systems at no cost.”
Lennox has partnered with trusted local contractors like WireNut since 2009 to make the program possible. Through its efforts, Lennox has donated thousands of furnaces and air conditioners across North America.
