Live wildfire updates: Evacuations lifted for Stone Canyon Fire near Lyons

DENVER (KDVR) — The deadly Stone Canyon Fire continues to burn in Boulder County near Lyons.

As of Thursday morning, the fire has burned 1,548 acres with 20% containment. The remains of one person were discovered in one of the five homes that burned. The cause of the death is being investigated.

The Stone Canyon Fire began Tuesday afternoon in a neighborhood north of Lyons. Evacuations for the town of Lyons were lifted Wednesday morning, although some homes may not have utility service when residents return.
