Local middle-schooler reports stranger danger incident

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A call came into the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) on Friday, April 12, at 7:55 p.m. reporting an alleged “stranger danger” incident. A middle-school student was approached by a stranger driving a white vehicle which may have been a van, and reported the information to CSPD.

The incident happened around Issaquah Drive/Sonesta Drive in Stetson Hills. The student got away and ran home to report what had happened. No contact has been made with the suspect, CSPD said, and the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5’6″ to 5’7″, in his late 40s with a short black/gray beard. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a black shirt.
