(COLORADO SPRINGS) — April is the Month of the Military Child, and local veteran organizations are holding a carnival to celebrate the kids on Saturday, April 12.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center, 530 Communication Circle, and will feature several organizations and small businesses providing food and fun, with carnival games and prizes. Organizations that want to sign up to create a pop-up carnival booth at the event can sign up here.

Children of active duty military and veterans can participate for free.
