(COLORADO SPRINGS) If you’re looking for love, the creators of Hype Your Type say they’ve had some success pairing couples in Southern Colorado.

The dating event happens every month at a C.O.A.T.I. in downtown Colorado Springs (though the event will take a break in September before returning in October). The next outing is Friday, Aug. 7.

The concept is simple: Sign up for the event ahead of time. “Basically, you buy a presentation ticket on Eventbrite and then we send you branded slides, a questionnaire, and then you return that and we present it on the day of the event”, said JuanLino, co-creator of Hype Your Type.

Presentation tickets include you and your presenter. General admission tickets include entry to the event for those who wish to observe.

“There have been a lot of people who have had success. Some people have made several connections. We’ve seen people go home with one another,” JuanLino said of previous events.
