(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is seeking the parents of dozens of pets who have been brought in since the start of July.

In a previous report, HSPPR shared that across the country, more pets are lost on the 4th of July than on any other day of the year. On Tuesday, July 9 HSPPR shared a few of the 290 stray pets who have been brought to their shelters located in Colorado Springs and Pueblo since July 1.

Individuals can check if their furry friend is at the shelter at the link above. If you don’t see your pet, check at the Pueblo campus listing as well as they may have been transferred between locations to receive care.

If your pet is lost and you do not see them on any listings, a lost pet report can be filed online at HSPPR.org. If you have found a stray, you can file a report on the HSPPR website to help reunite the pet with their family.
