(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reunited a feathered family on Friday morning, June 13, after they found themselves in a dicey situation.
A concerned community member called the fire department to come help a family of ducks after the ducklings and their mama were found roaming around a busy parking lot.
“Just another day helping all community members big or small!” CSFD wrote via X.
Fire crews got the babies into a box and then led ‘mama duck’ to a safe place away from the parking lot, and out of harm’s way.
