(FLORENCE, Colo.) — According to the City of Florence, the intersection of Highway 115 and Highway 120 is closed due to a “major accident” on Wednesday, June 26, as of about 8 a.m. The Florence Police Department is asking that all drivers avoid the area.

The City of Florence announced the following detours:

Traffic heading from Florence to Penrose is being routed to Highway 120.

Traffic from Penrose to Florence is being rerouted to Highway 50, where drivers can take Highway 67 into Florence.
