(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) arrested a man following a fight after assaulting three deputies on Saturday night, Aug. 31 at the Colorado State Fair.
Deputies providing security for the Colorado State Fair responded to reports of a fight at the Southwest Motors Events Center. Upon arrival, they found two men fighting on the ground.
A deputy attempted to restrain one of the men, who was intoxicated when the man punched the deputy in the face. The man was identified as a 25-year-old Pueblo West man, named Tyler C. Hargis.

Another deputy arrived as two deputies were trying to place Hargis in hand restraints when he kicked and punched both of them. Hargis was eventually restrained but continued to resist and kick at the deputies as they attempted to take him outside.
Deputies tased Hargis and he complied with commands. However, as Hargis was being transported to the hospital for routine medical clearance, he began resisting again and spit at a deputy. Eventually, deputies were able to get Hargis to comply with orders.
After being medically cleared, Hargis was booked into the Pueblo County Jail
