(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) found a man dead in his car late on Thursday night, Sept. 26.

A little before midnight on Sept. 26, according to CSPD, officers came upon a suspicious car in the 300 Block of Wooten Road, just off of East Platte Avenue. Inside the car, they discovered the man was dead, with at least one apparent gunshot wound.

The CSPD Homicide Unit is currently conducting an investigation and has no further information to release.
