Man found guilty of three counts of sex abuse on a minor

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado said that a Colorado Springs man was found guilty of three counts of sexual abuse of a minor related to acts that happened at a home on Fort Carson in 2020.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the facts established during the trial are that 32-year-old Mitchel Crow engaged in sexual acts with a minor within a home on Fort Carson between May 2020 and December 2020.

“These cases are devastating for the victim and difficult for the supportive friends and family as well as the investigators,” said FBI Denver Special Agent in Charge Mark Michalek. “A violent crime like this against a juvenile is heart-breaking, and the FBI will continue to support survivors and bring perpetrators to justice.“

Crow is set to be sentenced at a later time.
