(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has released photos and the identity of a man in connection to the sexual assault of a child in July, and police are looking for possible additional victims.
At the end of July, police released information about the case, but could not release the identity or photos of the suspect in order to preserve the investigation. Now, the suspect has been identified, and CSPD is hoping to identify potential victims.
According to CSPD, 37-year-old Jonathan Jensen allegedly approached an underage girl in July near South Chelton Road and Jetwing Drive, then walked the girl back to his home where he sexually assaulted her.
Jensen is a white man, approximately 6’3″ tall with a thin build, around 170 pounds. He has curly blond hair and a blond and brown beard. CSPD said it has reason to believe there may be additional victims, and is hoping someone will recognize Jensen.
Anyone who recognizes Jensen or has information relevant to the case is asked to contact the CSPD non-emergency line at (719) 444-7000.
