(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — The City of Manitou Springs is warning its citizens to beware of a scam text that was sent on Tuesday, June 4.

According to a statement posted on Facebook, the text message included a link to a digital survey that asked questions about the respondent’s political leanings and a land donation near Ruxton Avenue.

The city said they had “no prior knowledge of this survey” and were not associated with it in any matter.
