(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — A driver has been arrested after officers pulled over a car with a shattered windshield and discovered drugs and weapons in the car.
According to the Manitou Springs Police Department (MSPD), on Thursday, March 6, officers pulled over a car with a shattered windshield. During the investigation, MSPD said officers recovered approximately 100 grams of amphetamines, scales, baggies commonly used for distribution, gun parts, and various weapons.
MSPD said the driver was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and multiple weapons-related offenses.
“This incident underscores the critical role that proactive policing plays in keeping our community safe,” said Chief Bill Otto with MSPD. “Our officers remain committed to enforcing the law and preventing dangerous substances and illegal weapons from circulating in our city.”
