(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Wednesday, Nov. 6 Mayor Yemi Mobolade will recognize seven individuals for their impact on the Colorado Springs community during the 11th Annual Mayor’s Young Leader Awards.

The event will be held on Wednesday evening at the Pinery at the Hill, located at 775 West Bijou Street from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The program was started in 2015 by former Mayor Steve Bach and since its inception, has awarded 56 members of the community.

The 2024 class has 35 finalists across seven categories.

Creative Industry

Economic Impact

Education

Military Leader

Sports, Health and Wellness

Technology and Sustainability

The event will be emceed by FOX21 News Storm Team Chief Meteorologist Matt Meister.
