(PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said a semi-truck versus pedestrian crash resulted in the death of a minor in the early morning hours of Monday, Sept. 16.

CSP tells FOX21 the call for the crash came in around 5:30 a.m. on Highway 50 at milepost 322 near Baxter Road. Law enforcement found a minor dead on the scene and a semi-truck driver who claimed to be involved.

According to CSP, the investigation is still ongoing and the road in the area remains closed, CSP anticipates the road reopening sometime around 9 a.m.
