(MONUMENT, Colo.) — The Monument Police Department (MPD) is seeking additional victims in a sexual assault case after detectives uncovered allegations that dated back more than four years.

On February 14, 2025, the Monument Police Department launched an investigation following a report of sexual assault; one of the suspects was identified as 19-year-old Spencer Adam Johnson. During the investigation, detectives uncovered additional allegations against Johnson, some that dated back more than four years.

Johnson has since been charged with kidnapping and multiple sexual offenses. He is currently in custody in Texas and is awaiting extradition back to Colorado.

Based on that information, detectives believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward. Anyone with information, or who believes they may have been victimized, is urged to call the Monument Police Department Investigations Division at (719)-419-9791.
