(MONUMENT, Colo.) — The Town of Monument reported that the Town Hall has been temporarily closed for the safety of visitors and staff due to potential water damage on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

According to the Town, the closure allows officials to assess and address any possible water damage and related concerns.

The Town reported that the Town Council meeting scheduled to take place on Tuesday was moved to the Tri-Lakes YMCA at 17250 Jackson Creek Parkway in the Young Life Teen Center. Attendees are asked to use the entrance on the north side of the building.
