DENVER (KDVR) — One person is dead after a motorcycle and truck crashed near Larkspur Sunday afternoon.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said deputies are investigating the crash site on South Perry Park Road (Colorado Highway 105) at the intersection of Tomah Road.

The sheriff’s office said the motorcyclist was traveling south on Perry Park Road when the crash happened.

South Perry Park Road is closed in both directions as investigators are on the scene. DCSO said they would likely be on the scene for several hours and encouraged drivers to find an alternate route.
