(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center raised awareness about its services for Pueblo’s military veterans with a charity golf tournament and auction on Friday, June 13.
FOX21 News got the chance to sit down and meet the veterans behind Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center, and to learn about the services and programs that benefit our local veterans and their families.
“Most employees of Mt. Carmel are veterans, and we all want to give back,” said James Harrington, Director of Development with Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center. “It’s important how we treat our veterans.”
The event was held at the Pueblo Country Club, with proceeds helping sustain Mt. Carmel’s programs that save lives, create jobs, and ease the transition to civilian life.
