Mt. Carmel hosts Military Outpost during the U.S. Senior Open at The Broadmoor

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center is hosting a Military Outpost during the U.S. Senior Open at The Broadmoor that will provide free snacks and beverages to guests who have served in the military.

The station will be next to the 18th green from Wednesday, June 25, through Sunday, June 29, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at The Broadmoor’s East Course. A military ID card is required to enter the Outpost.


What to know about attending the U.S. Senior Open

“We’re honored to partner with Par 5 Group to host the Outpost for our country’s military members, veterans, and their families,” said Mt. Carmel VSC’s Executive Director Bob McLaughlin. “We encourage people to come out and visit us, learn more about what we do at Mt. Carmel, relax on the 18th green, and meet fellow veterans. It’s going to be a great event!”

Military members and veterans can receive free tickets to attend the U.S. Open on Wednesday, June 25, in honor of Military Appreciation Day, featuring a variety of tributes and events to recognize those who served in our country’s armed forces. Veterans and military members will also receive 50% off tickets for the remainder of the open.
