(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said all patients have been rescued from a rollover crash on northbound I-25 north of Exit 150 (North Academy Boulevard) on Thursday afternoon, April 3.
“All patients have been extricated and are being transported for evaluation,” CSFD wrote on Thursday just before 12:10 p.m. “Traffic will continue to be impacted for some time. Please avoid the area.”

ORIGINAL STORY: Multiple lanes blocked due to crash on I-25 near North Academy Boulevard

The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said multiple lanes of I-25 are blocked due to a rollover crash, which happened in the northbound lanes north of Exit 150 (North Academy Boulevard).
Troopers said the crash happened at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, and involved an SUV that was on its roof. CSP said one person was rescued from the vehicle and added that three lanes of northbound I-25 were blocked due to the crash and that one southbound lane was also closed.
The Colorado Springs Fire and Police departments are on the scene of the crash. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and to be cautious, as several CSFD and CSPD personnel are on the scene and near the road.
“Engine 9, Truck 9, Heavy Rescue 17, Tower 1, Battalion 3, Med 74, and Spec Ops 52 are on scene working this complex extrication,” wrote CSFD.
