COLORADO SPRINGS — An alert from the Colorado Department of Transportation has noted the closure of northound lanes on I25 between US 85 and Exit 132 (Mesa Ridge Parkway) early Tuesday afternoon.

According to CDOT, the road is closed due to a crash, however the department has also reported fire activity in the area.

CDOT is advising drivers to take an alternate route for now.
