New pedestrian bridge installed at Lake Pueblo

(PUEBLO WEST, Colo.) — Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) posted updates to social media showing the installation of a new pedestrian bridge on South Nichols Road near Lake Pueblo.

On Tuesday, April 2 CPW posted photos of two cranes moving the bridge into place on South Nichols Road in Pueblo West. The installation required the closure of the north entrance to Lake Pueblo State Park.

“Access to Pueblo West is restored and folks walking the road now are safe from motorists and trains,” wrote CPW.
