New restaurant donates proceeds to Special Olympics

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Tuesday, July 29, Nana’s Dim Sum and Dumplings opened in Colorado Springs.

The restaurant is described as a taste of tradition, with a modern twist. The owners said the surge of interest in authentic Asian cuisine and the growing diversity of the Front Range, along with Nana’s expansion into the Springs, reflects the state’s evolving culinary scene.

“This is so exciting, bringing Nana’s to Colorado Springs, it’s the first one, so maybe there will be others, but this is our sixth location and we’re very excited to be here because the community has been so welcoming,” said Esther Kang, Director of Marketing at Nana’s Dim Sum.

The new restaurant will donate 100% of proceeds from the grand opening to the Colorado Springs chapter of Special Olympics Colorado.

Nana’s Dim Sum and Dumplings will open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 1895 Democracy Point, Suite 120.
