New Year’s Eve: Events to ring in the new year

(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — As 2024 draws to a close, Southern Coloradans will gather to ring in the new year together and celebrate a chance for new beginnings as the clock ticks down to midnight. If you are still looking for fun ways to welcome 2025, check out the list of New Year’s Eve events below.

Colorado Springs

The AdAmAn Club Fireworks show from the top of Pikes Peak: For over a century, the AdAmAn Club has been setting off fireworks from the top of Pikes Peak, creating one of the most beloved spectacles that the entire city can enjoy for free. The AdAmAn team has already started hiking up the mountain to prepare, and two fireworks shows will launch, one at 9 p.m. and one at midnight.

NYE – Under the Lights in Old Colorado City: An epic community gathering on West Colorado Avenue that is a family-friendly celebration open to anyone. The event includes a Family Countdown from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and allows kids to take part in the celebration without destroying their bedtime, with a s’mores station, face painting, hair sparkles, and photo ops to capture the fun of the night. The Late-Night Celebration from 9 p.m. to midnight brings fun for the adults with a free champagne toast at midnight, a caricature artist, and a tarot card reader offering intriguing insights into the new year, plus gourmet s’mores. A $1 minimum donation will score tickets to this event, but donations of up to the $40 ticket value are accepted.

Electric Safari at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: It’s the last night to enjoy one of the top zoo-lights festivals in the country. This family-friendly event lets visitors step into an enchanting winter wonderland while visiting their favorite animals. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Check the zoo’s website for admission prices.

The Broadmoor’s New Year’s Eve Bash: The Broadmoor will be hosting a high-energy dance party for guests 18 and older, with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight to ring in the new year. The doors open at 8:30 p.m., and dancing begins at 9 p.m. Dress is nice-casual and tickets are required for admittance.

New Year’s Eve: Black Tie & Bubbles at Ephemera: For a more upscale experience, Ephemera is hosting an unforgettable evening of elegance featuring a 7-course dinner with the perfect pairings. Black-tie attire is required and make your reservations fast – the 8:30 p.m. seating is sold out, but as of the time of this article, there is still space for the 5:30 p.m.

Pueblo

Modelo and Familia Presents 2024 New Year’s Eve Fiesta at the Pueblo Convention Center: This New Year’s Eve celebration will showcase a lineup of Tejano and Spanish music, dancing, a cash bar, and a complimentary champagne toast, plus party favors at midnight. Tickets are required. VIP doors open at 6 p.m. and General Admission at 6:30

Bling in the New Year Gala at Pueblo Community College Ball Room: MOBB Global Hospitality Group is hosting this elegant event featuring a five-course meal provided by Chop, Pueblo’s newest fine dining steakhouse. Live music by Martini Shot will allow guests to dance the night away. Specialty cocktails will be available and, of course, a midnight toast. Black-tie attire is optional but highly recommended and there will be prizes for the best “bling” outfits. Grab tickets fast, as seating is limited and first-come-first-serve.

29th Annual BRASS NUT RUN on New Year’s Day: For motorcycle enthusiasts who want to save their celebrations for the new year, the Steel City HOG Chapter and Outpost Harley-Davidson are hosting the BRASS NUT RUN at 10 a.m. on New Year’s Day. No alcohol is permitted prior to or during the motorcycle ride but is available at the destination of Pizza Madness, where a pizza and salad buffet will be served for $10 per person.

Cañon City

NYE at Hotel St. Cloud: Those in Cañon City who want to spend New Year’s Eve enjoying heavy appetizers, cocktails, and a champagne toast can do so at Hotel St. Cloud. The event starts at 8 p.m. and tickets range from $25 to $65.
