(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating after officers found a vehicle “riddled” with bullet holes during a call of shots fired in the early morning hours of Friday, Aug. 16.
According to CSPD, on Friday at around 4:45 a.m. officers were called to the 2500 block of Fuller Road near North Union and Briargate Boulevards. Callers told police there were two cars involved and that one was still at the scene.
When officers arrived they found a Hyundai “riddled” with bullet holes and 30 shell casings in the street. Police believe based on evidence gathered that the Hyundai is an unreported stolen vehicle. No evidence was found of anyone being injured by gunfire, and no suspect information is available at this time, according to CSPD.
