PUEBLO, Colo. — A Pueblo officer is being recognized after saving a drowning dog from the Pueblo Riverwalk.

Thursday morning, Officer Morales was dispatched to the Riverwalk after someone spotted a dog in the water below a walking bridge. Officers used a ladder to save the dog. A picture shows the dog safely inside an officer’s car.
