(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The second Southern Colorado Olde World Bagels & Deli location is set to open this month in the Security-Widefield area, and if you love the eatery’s cuisine, you’ll love to find out that the grand opening is set for Valentine’s Day weekend.

Owners and sisters Christina Buckles and Jen Moreland are eager to open the new location and the public is invited to celebrate with them on Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The new spot is located at 6881 Mesa Ridge Parkway, in the same shopping center as Safeway.

Those who attend the grand opening celebration can expect the following:

Sprinkle-topped fun-fetti bagels and single-serve razzle-dazzle parfaits (while supplies last)

Free 8-ounce drip coffee with bagel purchase

15% discount on breakfast sandwiches and raffle prize drawings

A free branded ceramic mug will be provided to the first 50 people to arrive

“There was a need in Fountain for a bagel and coffee shop; so many of our customers were asking for it,” said Buckles. “We are here for the long run, and want to be a great business for years to come serving the Fountain area.”

Offerings at the new spot will be very similar to the first Olde World Bagels & Deli location at 1670 East Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard, which is also co-owned by Buckles and other family members.

“What makes our bagel shop stand out from the competition is our commitment to freshness and quality. We have the best ingredients and we bake our bagels fresh every morning,” said Moreland. “Our signature cream cheese spreads and unique bagel flavors, combined with a cozy, community-driven setting, create a one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t find anywhere else.”

Menu offerings include; breakfast and lunch sandwiches, a coffee bar, pastries, soups, salads, and catering services. Both locations also offer gluten-free and vegan options as well as online ordering.

“We want to make every breakfast, lunch or coffee break an anticipated event,” said Buckles. “Bringing new, gourmet, and innovative flavors to our menu and providing exceptional service… are our ongoing commitments to our loyal customers.”

The owners are also committed to serving the military community, and through a partnership with Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center, Olde World Bagels & Deli provides complimentary breakfast service for funeral services of fallen heroes, as well as a 10% discount on all menu items to military members.
