(COLORADO SPRINGS) — One person died and two were seriously injured in a crash at the intersection of East Fountain Boulevard and Academy Park Loop on Saturday, Oct. 18, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

CSPD reported that around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, when emergency responders arrived at the location of the crash, about a block east of South Academy Boulevard, they found that a person in one of the cars was dead at the scene. Two people in the other car were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

CSPD’s Major Crash Team took over the investigation.
