(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) has confirmed one woman has been found dead from an alleged shooting in Pueblo.

PPD dispatchers received a call about a shooting near the intersection of Spruce Street and Baystate Avenue, near Bessemer Park, around 3:20 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 14.

According to the PPD Public Information Officer, when officers arrived, they found a woman dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

PPD says they are actively investigating all leads at this time and will release more information when possible
