(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said one person is dead after an overnight shooting on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
According to CSPD, on Tuesday at around 12:50 a.m. officers were called to the 3900 block of North Academy near Austin Bluffs Parkway about a shooting. When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound. The man was determined to be dead by medical personnel.
Detectives from CSPD’s Homicide Unit were called and took over the investigation. Police said all involved people are accounted for and this is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
