(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is searching for a suspect in connection to a deadly stabbing that happened Friday afternoon, July 12, on the south side of Colorado Springs.

According to CSPD, officers responded to a reported stabbing just after 1:15 p.m. on Friday in the 700 block of Cheyenne Road, just west of I-25 and the Highway 24 exit. An adult man was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

CSPD said as of Friday evening, no suspect was in custody. The CSPD Homicide Unit responded to assume the investigation, including the development of potential suspect information.
