(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is responding to a shooting near Austin Bluffs Parkway and North Academy Boulevard that sent one person to the hospital.

According to CSPD, the shooting was reported just after 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20 in the 3600 block of Jeannine Drive, just southwest of the intersection of North Academy and Austin Bluffs.

When officers arrived, CSPD said they found a person suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The shooting victim has been taken to the hospital and is in unknown condition, CSPD said.
