Open House to be held on Palmer Lake Buc-ee’s

(PALMER LAKE, Colo.) — An informational open house is planned for locals to discuss the potential impacts of the proposed Buc-ee’s location near County Line Road.

Tri-Lakes Preservation, Inc. (TPI) is hosting the open house, and said its goal is to “inform, engage, and empower the local residents while also spotlighting and supporting local businesses.”

The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 24 at the Palmer Lake Elementary School Cafeteria from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public, and complimentary food and drinks from local vendors will be featured.

“Developments like Buc-ee’s affect communities in complex ways,” said Sean Saw, President of TPI. “We want to provide our Tri-Lakes citizens with information, all while recognizing our local businesses.”

TPI said the open house will offer informational tables staffed by “subject matter experts” to cover key topics such as traffic, environment, safety, and water. TPI said these experts would be available throughout the evening to answer questions and provide valuable context.
