(OTERO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Otero County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), Baca County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), and La Junta Police Department (LJPD) are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in the overnight hours of Thursday, April 11.

According to OCSO, on Thursday, 38-year-old Ronald Collier of Gillette, Wyoming overpowered a deputy and a security officer and left the hospital wearing a black and white striped jumpsuit and handcuffs.
Law Enforcement is searching the area for Collier.
