Over 2,000 people unite for Walk to End Alzheimer’s

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — More than 2,000 people gathered in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Sept. 27, for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, aiming to raise $330,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The event, held at Memorial Park, supports free programs and services for the 91,000 Coloradans living with Alzheimer’s and the 178,000 loved ones providing them with unpaid care.

So far, Colorado Springs has raised 61% of its fundraising goal, contributing significantly to the fight against Alzheimer’s.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Pueblo also contributed over $56,000, bringing Southern Colorado’s total fundraising to $256,794.
