Over 300 flights delayed at Denver International Airport Thursday afternoon

DENVER (KDVR) — More than 300 flights were delayed in and out of the Denver International Airport on Thursday morning, as the mid-week snowstorm left over a foot of snow in some areas of the state with more on the way.

Three Pinpoint Weather Alert Days have been issued from Wednesday through Friday for slick and snowy conditions that will last until Saturday morning. Already, there have been multiple crashes, traffic jams and several inches of heavy snow. The airport also saw the most delays in the country as of Thursday morning.
