Palmer Ridge headed to 4A state championship

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Palmer Ridge High School football team is headed back to the state championship game for the first time since 2020.

The Bears football program has three state titles under its belt, but the seniors do not want to make a repeat after falling to Loveland four years ago.

The Bears have already won state championships in gymnastics and girls volleyball earlier this season.

The 13-0 Bears face the 12-1 Erie Tigers.

Kickoff on Saturday is at 11 a.m. at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins.
