(PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), with help from the U.S. Marshals, arrested 45-year-old Adam Eugene Pacheco after he allegedly threatened a woman with a shotgun.
According to PCSO, on Monday, Oct. 27, deputies responded to a home in the 1100 block of Placita Avenue in the Salt Creek area, around 1:15 a.m., on a report that a man had threatened a woman with a shotgun.
When deputies arrived, they learned the suspect, identified as Pacheco, allegedly had been in a verbal argument with the woman. PCSO said the argument escalated as Pacheco assaulted the woman and pointed a shotgun at her, threatening to shoot her.
After some time, the woman was able to leave the home safely. Pacheco allegedly remained in the house. Deputies gave several verbal commands for him to come out of the home, but he refused their orders. PCSO said deputies obtained a warrant for Pacheco’s arrest.
PCSO detectives, with help from the U.S. Marshals, found and arrested Pacheco on Monday afternoon. Deputies also executed a search warrant at the home on Placita Avenue and allegedly found a shotgun.
Pacheco was booked into the Pueblo County Jail and is facing charges of felony menacing, false imprisonment, third-degree assault, and domestic violence.
