(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Dozens of protesters gathered downtown in front of the Colorado Springs City Hall on Saturday, Aug. 2, as part of the national Rage Against the Regime protest in opposition to the administration of President Donald Trump.
Organizers stated that the protests, intended to be peaceful, aim to unite the community against the Trump administration and “its ongoing threats to democracy, human rights, and the environment,” and that the event is about standing up for “justice, truth, and equity.”
The event also featured keynote speakers, resource tables, art, and music.
