(PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo.) — The Peterson Space Force Base (Peterson SFB) reopened its East Gate after restricting the area for a vehicle inspection on Friday afternoon, June 21.

According to Peterson officials, a military dog alerted to one of the vehicles entering through the inspection area at the East Gate and led to a more thorough inspection.

Dillon said no threats were found. The East Gate has now reopened.
