PFD responds to “stubborn” house fire

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Fire Department (PFD) responded to a house fire in the early morning of Sept. 12.

PFD said it was on the scene of a house fire on the south side of the city. Firefighters found a fire in the back side of the home and performed a “fast attack” to control the flames, while another team searched the home.

The fire department reported there were no occupants found inside the home, and the “stubborn fire” was extinguished after 1 a.m.

A fire investigation is underway.
