(LARIMER COUNTY, Colo.) — The Alexander Mountain Fire continues to burn in Larimer County, and numerous agencies from across the state have responded to provide assistance in fighting the fire.
Crews with the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) were deployed around 4 a.m. on July 30, after a request for resources was received.
CSFD posted photos of its wildland firefighters battling intense flames at the Alexander Mountain Fire, which as of Monday, Aug. 5, had burned 9,668 acres with over 500 fire personnel helping to fight the fire.
According to the Alexander Mountain Fire information page, as of Monday evening, the fire was at 74% containment.
